Idaho’s Students Are Idaho’s Future

The Bonner County Democrats support:

  • Providing debt-free higher education to our citizens

  • Providing funding equity for all Idaho school districts with comparable funding to other states

  • Provide facilities funding from the state rather than from property taxes.

Affordable Health for ALL Idahoans

The Bonner County Democrats believe that access to health care is a fundamental human right. To that end, we support the implementation of:

  • Single-payer health care / insurance

  • Comprehensive coverage for all

  • Support and defend Medicaid Expansion

Public Lands for the Public

The Bonner County Democrats support leaving a legacy of pristine wilderness for future Idahoans. Including:

  • Assuring clean air and clean water

  • Protecting public access for all forms of outdoor recreation.

  • Opposing all sales of public lands

Reduce Gun Violence

The Bonner County Democrats support the 2nd Amendment and the rights of responsible gun owners. We also support:

  • Expanding and strengthening background checks for purchase of firearms

  • Banning weapons of war

  • Reducing gun violence

  • Increasing research on gun violence
